PTC has
developed the “Bobbin-to-Bobbin”
sizing process in order to produce sample warps using parallel
sized yarn.
This new technology allows the sizing of
bobbins of continuous filament yarn like: nylon, polyester,
cupro, acetate and viscose.
Once the bobbins are sized, the warping is
obtained by using an ergeth warping machine.
The use of this warping system gives the
possibility to obtain beams of shorts and different lengths
from 14 to 350m, with a density which goes from 10
to 160 yarns per cm, and the use of limited amount of yarn
from 10 to 50kg.
